Jonathan C. Woods, P.E. – Founder & President
Mr. Woods began his more than half century of experience in the corrosion control and protective coating industry in the laboratory as a quality assurance chemist in the field of protective linings and coatings for the water, sewage, power, and petrochemical markets.
In the 1960’s, still in the lab, he moved to Mobil Chemical as a development chemist formulating and problem-solving coatings for heavy industries special needs.
Striking out on his own in 1964 he started the business now known worldwide as CORCHEM Corporation. Over the decades to follow, CORCHEM would become reputed as one of the leaders in the development of highly specialized protective linings and coatings for service in extreme environments.
Mr. Woods has build a reputation as one of the leading experts in the field, in addition to the development of linings and coatings for unique and extreme environments he has been called upon to consult for business owners an provide expert witness testimony in court.
